Day -3: Packing!
There are only three days until I leave! After being asked about packing by about a dozen people, I decided I should probably start packing. I now have most of my things packed, including most of my clothes, my camera, my computer, and other odds and ins. I am taking about a week’s worth of clothes, so I won’t have to do laundry too often, but I also won’t be carrying too much. Besides my clothes, camera, and computer (The Three Cs of Traveling (Yes, I just made that up!)), I don’t have much to take, just small things like toiletries, an outlet converter, a copy of my itinerary, my wallet, and my passport.
My main bag is only about half full, so I have plenty of room for souvenirs and other odds and ends. My backpack has room for more things as well.
Tomorrow is graduation, so I will be heading over to the Dean Smith Center at 3:30pm, with the ceremony beginning at 4:30pm. Over the next few days, I will finish up packing, and then on Sunday I will head to RDU for my 2 o’clock flight to Chicago then New Delhi. Be sure to check out my itinerary to see where I will be all summer. Also, Jimmy Pagett is studying abroad in Italy this summer, so be sure to check out his blog if you know him.
I know you are getting excited! I am for you. I’ll see you before you leave Sunday. Have a great evening of graduation night! What a great gift to be able to go around the world right after graduation! I can’t imagine anything more powerful! Love LL
Have a great trip. We’re sure you will learn a lot this summer and have a lot of fun along the way. Sure there will be lots of pictures!
